Tina from County Leitrim tells of how Kathleen healed her

“I feel I must write to you as I am not a religious person. I do have my own beliefs, but on receiving the photo of Kathleen Kilbane and ribbon from you I put the photo in a frame and brought a white rose and placed them in my bedroom. Your article appeared on my Facebook page on the 1st of May which was the 2nd year of my Mother's death. I read the article which is something I would never really do, but something that day made me read it. I have since said a prayer to Kathleen each night asking her to look after my 5 grandchildren and also to say a prayer for me to heal a knee problem I have had for a number of years.

Over a week each night after I spoke to Kathleen I suffered terrible pain in my knee, even having to take painkillers. Then I woke one morning after a bad night with no pain. At first I thought it must be the painkillers but each morning I have more energy and no pain. So I would like to thank you for sending Kathleen to me. I am going to try to visit Kathleen this summer, thank you and of course Kathleen Kilbane. Yours faithfully Tina.”

Less than two months later we received a follow-up message from Tina: “Well I promised that I would spread the word about how Kathleen helped me with my knee. So today myself and my friend Mary went to visit Kathleen's grave. I was very glad we did. We had a lovely drive from Leitrim to Achill and back. It was a very calming experience. Thank you again for sending me photos etc.”
